Paeonia 'Lullaby'

type: [herbaceous peony] – [herbaceous hybrid]

LULLABY - Roy Pehrson, Lafayette, Minnesota 1973. Moon of Nippon x Laura Magnuson. Blush fading white. No stamens or carpels. Large, full double, tall (47") very dense, dark green foliage, glossy. Showmans peony. Bulletin #208 December 1973.

LULLABY A very late flowering double with unusual buff-green buds opening to the softest of pinks. This would be one of the tallest varieties we grow making it most suitable for the back of the border, but also a bit difficult to manage. However, the nd result is well worth the trouble. Pink Double, Late, 120cm. LULLABY Pink, Double, Late, Fragrant. 120cm. Late, tall growing variety with unusual buff-green buds opening to the softest pink.
