Huo Lian Bi Yu. Hundred proliferate form. Flower buds conical, often opening; flowers 16cm x 5 cm, magenta (43-B), lustrous. Petals 6-whorled, slightly large, lighter colour at the apex; stamens occasionally petaloid; pistils developed, petaloid, greenish coloured in the lower flower. Petals relatively few, twisted and wrinkled, stamens small; pistils small in the upper flower. Stalks short, flowers upright or lateral. Flowering late. Plant dwarf, partially spreading. Branches stout. Leaves long, medium- sized, crowded; leaflets ovate, apex acute, pendulous. Growth vigorous, flowers relatively few. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1969.
