Xian Gu. Chrysanthemum form. Flowers 20cm x 7cm, pale purplish red (63-B); petals 6-8-whorled, regular, suffused with deep purple at the base; stamens normal; pistils 6-9; floral discs purplish red. Stalks stiff, long, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant tall, erect. Branches relatively slender, stiff, branchlets long, intemodes long. Leaves long, medium- sized; leaflets long ovate, acuminate at the apex, upper surface green. Growth vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1980. |
