DIANA PARKS
Bockstoce (USA), 1942
Hybride – Paeonia officinalis x P. lactiflora

DIANA PARKS
Bockstoce (USA), 1942
Hybrid– Paeonia officinalis x P. lactiflora
Full double, bomb-shaped flowers of a fenomenal bright red color. Displaying true red 'Diana Parks' is a first class eye-catcher. When the flowers mature they resemble a 'package' for a long time; the guard petals remain tightly packed to the center of lacinated petals. This center is pushed up in the maturing process and the guard petals 'loose their guard' resulting in huge and stunning bomb-shaped flowers. No sidebuds. Delicously scented flowers are seldom seen amongst true red peony cultivars, but 'Diana Parks' has it all! A soft and elegant sister of 'Red Charm' is one of the many nicknames with which this variety is flattered with. And justfully being compared to 'Red Charm' is a rare occurance..
