I recently purchased a potted peony simply because I liked the sound of the name. The particulars about type and color flew out of my head as I plunged into the heady euphoria of the first nursery trip of the spring season. So now I am requesting help to id "Jacorma", (warts and all please). The only description that I can find on the internet is on Carsten's site in a language other than English.

blooms deeprose, medium hight, double, late. Leaves grey-green, .., hight 85cm..Jacorma, this variety is extremely late season, same time as Elsa Sass or Ann Cousins, big strong stems, color similar to Jules Elie or Alex Fleming. Buds above average size. The Dutch description below also mentions the 3 "Michelin Star" it seems to have and resistance against Botrytis and other deceases. dick houtenbos

The name Jacorma comes from three dutch names JA(N), COR and MAR(IE). It's one of the best real pink semi-doubles I know. The flowers have a nice shape and the plant produces good strong stems. In my garden it's one of the few "doubles" which doesn't need much staking. The foliage is beautiful dark green. One of my favourites.
