IMPERIAL PRINCESS (68-29)-Walter Marx, Boring. Oregon, 1978. Parentage unknown. First bloomed 1968. Ball form. Lavender rose self, double, reliable, fragrant, good substance. Strong stems, three feet. If not disbudded, support is required. A subtle lavender rose pink, lightening at the edges. Introduced by Allan Rogers, Sherwood, Oregon.

INNISWOOD (K 721)-William H. Krekler, May 19787. Hybrid, 29-inch, sturdy. cut leaf, big red. Bulletin #227.

IVA WALKER (M7-68)-Festiva Maxima x (Ruth Clay x Harry L. Burden). Edward Lee Michau, Derby, Kansas. Rose pink double bomb, early. Five buds per stem. First bloomed 1972. 28" height; has seeds, good substance. Guards petals fold back with age to form a loose collar around the feathery center. Named for originator's mother.

IVORY JEWELL - Roy Klehm, June 25, 1981. Seedling 11P; single lactiflora; line-bred seedling of Charlie's White and Bowl of Cream; first bloomed 1968. White single, good substance, stamens, pollen, seeds and fragrant; excellent stem strength; 32-inch height; foliage extremely dark and lush; excellent plant habits. This single has smooth and cupped double rows of guard petals. The white color of the guards is pure ivory and the inner gold is very intense.

IVORY WHITE SAUCER -Lyman Cousins-Roy Klehm, June 25,1981. Seedling # Saucer A; single hybrid; parentage unknown; first bloomed about 1968. Ivory white, saucer form, stamens, pollen, fragrant, no seeds, good substance with average amount of bloom; average stem strength, 32-inch height, early. A beautiful, dainty saucer-shaped early blooming hybrid. The delicate blooms are a pure, pearly ivory color and are a perfect contrast to Soft Salmon Saucer.

Late blooming date, 13th day in Pennsylvania season of which Richard Carvel is day 1. Registered by J. Franklin Styer. Bulletin #222.

KARAMBA -William H. Krekler, Somerville, Ohio, May 1977. Hybrid, bloomed before May 6. Seedling #237. Single light orange red. Unusual color, cut flower type. Bulletin #223.

KAREN KERSCH - Guy Tomlinson, Oblong, Illinois. December 5,1980. Parentage unknown; first bloomed 1955. Blush white, ball form, excellent in yearly performance. Good substance, stamens, fragrant, no seeds. Stems strong with deep green foliage, supporting large blooms. Midseason. 3-4 feet in height. A delicate pink ball in center opens to a yellow hue. Three buds per stem.

KATHY ANN-Robert F. Schmidt, Brecksville, Ohio, July 27,1985. Seedling #26. Parentage unknown. First bloomed 1983. Single, white lactiflora, reliable. 36" height, 6" blooms on strong stems, with dark green foliage. Named after second daughter of originator. Bulletin #256.
