MISS BRICE (Kelway) - Double - Rose - Midseason.

MISS DAINTY (Bigger, 1949) - Double - Blush - Late. Over 3' tall. Good fragrance. Double full rose type, slightly cupped center and a large flower. White shaded very delicate pink. The beauty of this flower is in its dainty coloring and petals. Very good substance and the foliage is dark green and very tough. Bigger 1955 catalog.

MISS ECKHART (Roelof-Arendsveen van der Meer, 1928) - Double - Bright Pink - Midseason. Very large well formed. Broad solid petals. Some stamens show. List in Bulletin 91.

MISS EMERY (Shaylor, 1919) - Double - Pink - Midseason.

MISS H. C. HULL (Kelway) - Single - Pink - Midseason.

MISS HENNINGER (Terry) - Double - White - Midseason.

MISS IDA CHAMBERLAIN (Kelway) - Single - Pink or Rose. Tall. Light rose, very large flower. Tall graceful plant with beautiful deep green, broad foliage. Bulletin 38.

MISS INNOCENCE (Kelsey, 1936) - Double - Flesh White - Early Midseason. Fragrant. Flesh white cupped. A perfect bloom. Dainty 7' blooms, loosely formed. Broad outer petals becoming smaller and incurved as they reach the center bloom. Lists in Bulletins 91 & 109.

MISS MINNEAPOLIS (Franklin, 1931) - Double - Pale Pink - Late. Large full rose type, pale pink stiff stems, upright. Vigorous. 32" tall. Bulletin 47.

MISS MORRIS (Origin unknown) - Single - Midseason.

M. J. ASTLE (Kelway, 1912) - Single - Pink - Midseason.

M. LESLIE CHASE (Chase, 1935) First called ABLE CHASE. Semi-Double - White - Midseason. A very lovely flower with five or six rows of broad white guards suffused pink at first and a large center of yellow stamens. Large. List in Bulletin 91.

MLLE. CIMOCHOWSKA (Millet) - Double - Violet - DISCARDED - Midseason.

MLLE. DESBUSSON (Crousse, 1893) - Double - Pink - Midseason.

MLLE. JEANNE RIVIERE (Riviere, 1908) - Double - Blush and pale pink - Midseason. Tall. Mild fragrance. Medium size. Guards pale blush-white of translucent texture; center low, rounded and compact, of many narrow incurved petals which are wider in extreme center, pale pink near the guards shading through cream and canary to pure lemon-yellow; very floriferous; strong, erect stems. Good foliage. The mixture of pale pink and lemon-yellow in the center is distinctive and most attractive. Excellent for cut-flower work and especially so for garden decoration. M.

MLLE. JULIETTE DESSERT (Dessert, 1888) - Double - Cherry-Rose - DISCARDED - Midseason.

MLLE. LEONIE CALOT (Calot, 1861) - Syn. MONS. CHARLES LEVEQUE. Double - Flesh Pink - Late Midseason. Medium height. Fresh, sweet fragrance. Small to medium size. Light flesh pink, darkening somewhat in the center, fully double. Ruffled and crinkled. Very floriferous; drooping stems. Good foliage. An excellent cut flower, but not very decor-ative in garden because of its weak stems. Especially noteworthy for its strong, delicious fragrance. Sometimes has tight buds that do not open. 'M.

MLLE. LOUISE DELATTRE (Millet, 1925) - Double - Light Rose. Listed in American catalog as a double, but Millet lists it as Japanese. Sometimes spelled de LATTRE. M.

MLLE. MARGUERITE GAUDICHAU - See MARGUERITE GAUDICHAU. Midseason.

MLLE. MARIE CALOT (Calot, 1872) - Double - White, tinted flesh - DISCARDED. 1930 Wild catalog Milk-white, tinted pink, slightly flecked with carmine; large globular flowers of rose type. M.

MLLE. RENEE DESSERT (Mechin, 1880) - Double - Mauve - DISCARDED - Midseason.

MLLE. ROUSSEAU (Calot, 1886) - Double - Pale Pink - Midseason. Medium height. Faint fragrance. Large. Wide guards and crown petals opening to a hollow center which doesn't show stamens; collar irregular and narrow; pale cream pink, suffused with minute pink dots most numerous on outer petals, crown conspicuously marked with crimson which sometimes extends down the center of petals. Floriferous; sturdy stems. Ruddy foliage. A big cylindrical flower of loose, fluffy structure and little elegance of form. Valued chiefly for decorative purposes in the garden. M.

MLLE. VAILLANT (Origin unknown) - Double - Cream-White - Midseason.

MME. AUGUSTE DESSERT (Dessert, 1899) - rouble - Pink - Early - Midseason. Medium height. Fragrance like elderberries. Large. Cupped blooms of old-rose-pink, developing a hollow center full of golden stamens and dark rose-pink carpels, with crimson flakes on a few petals. Very floriferous; strong stems. Good foliage. M.

MME. CALOT (Miellex, 1856) Syn. LEONIE . Double - Pink - Early. Tall. Very fragrant. Large. Globular at first, very light-old-rose-pink with creamy tints in the collar, and the somewhat darker center strongly marked with crimson flakes. Extremely floriferous; strong stems. Excellent foliage - Midseason.
