Wan Die Yun Feng. Crown form. Flowers 16cm x 8cm, pale purple (63-D); the outer petals 2-whorled, thick, entire, suffused with red at the base; the inner petals crowded, wrinkled, layered, pinkish white with purple tinge when initially flowering, some petaloid filaments bearing anthers are present, a few stamens grow among the petals; pistils 5, floral discs purplish red. Stalks fairly short, slightly pliable, flowers lateral. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, spreading. Branches stout, slightly curved. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized, crowded; leaflets ovate or broadly ovate, obtuse at the apex. Growth medium, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1973. |
