P. mascula (L.) Miller subsp. kesrouanensis (J. Thiebaut) J. J. Halda stat. nov.

[bas: P. kesrouanensis J. Thiebaut in Mem. Inst. Egypte 31:37 (1936)].

Differs from subsp. mascula in having glabrous carpels and long stigma, coiled at the extreme apex. Syria, Lebanon, Turkey.
