Only a few kms away from Nyingchi, a slope with thousands of plants of Paeonia delavayi. Never higher than 2 m, mostly spreading by suckers, but a few seedling plants here and there, also some more distantly down the hillside. Very uniform in color, no visible differences within the population. Following the old nomenclature this would be a typical Lutea
