Large blooms with smooth double row of guard petals. Mature bloom give fluffy appearance. Height 30", super stem strength, wide, thick deep green foliage. Pollen, seeds and fragrant. FINLANDIA - Registered by Busse Gardens, Cokato, Minnesota, July 16, 21984. Originator - Pees, Belle Center, Ohio - Busse Gardens. Seedling #12-20- Row C 23 (Busse Number). Parentage unknown, first bloomed prior to 1978. Bloomed 1979, Cokato, Minnesota. White Japanese, good substance, 36-40" height, strong stems, late bloom. This cup-shaped flower has a pale yellow center appearing almost white. Very floriferous.

FIRE OPAL - Walter Marx (68-26), June 27, 1979. Deep red bomb, inner petals tipped white - 36 inches high, very stiff stems - 3-4 flowers per stem, fast grower. Midseason, no fragrance. Introduced by Allan and Dorothy Rogers, Sherwood, Oregon.
