MELLON MOON (Jones, 1938) - Double - Blush - Midseason. Very fragrant. Entirely double excepting a golden halo in this bloom due to a few petal-concealed stamens. Opens with a slight blush into a striking soft white flow. Rose type. Center petalage finer and tuft-like. Blooms large, very free-flowering. Vigorous. Bulletin 71.
